Im gettin a used flipster...anything i should look out for?

Someone in my area is sellin a used olc flipster for jus 60usd shipped. Ive personally never played with one before, but the reviews on tb are pretty good so I thought why not give it a shot? I was eyeing for a used sansamp vt bass for awhile but nothing popped up, then the flipster came into the picture.

So heres e catch, the owner got it in a trade and apparently the pedal was DIY-ed by the previous owner. Since its not hand built by the original builder, im kinda paranoid about the guy who diy-ed screwing up(is it likely?). Should I look out for anything?

yeah - sweet sweet tones galore

mine was handbuilt by a TB member and its still sounding great now. Coincidentally, I was trying to sell it (as I had a tech 21 Leeds) but I feel that the flipster sounds more natural and holds the bass so much easier, i've now sold the Leeds (still a great pedal) and use the Flipster for a slightly dirty tone.

How long it stays once my Orange Bass Terror returns, who knows?
