I'm in a psychedelic/experimental rock band which incorporates a lot of spacey parts within our music. As of now I have the digi-tech Bass Synth Wah. I love it because of the range of tones and noises it can make. However there are a lot of useless effects in there as well. I'm looking to add another pedal, most likely another synth or chorus is what I'm leaning towards right now.
I was wondering if anyone has suggestions on either of these 2 types of pedals (synth & chorus), or also any suggestions as to any type of pedal I might find interesting and useful for this. Thanks all |

Delay pedal is what you need! Delay + synth == spacey goodness.

But IMHO, YMMV, etc.

I'd say that the Small Clone is a great pedal for the money. Just don't go for a nano clone.
Phaser/Flanger might also be useful to you, especially the more wacky ones that can get laser gun and spaceship noises going.
I've gotta +1 to delay as well.
If you want to step up from the BSW, an EHX Bass Micro Synth might be in order. Other than that, you're looking at more of the same type as the BSW (BOSS SYB-3/SYB-5, Ibanez SB-7, Behringer clones) or more expensive than the BMS (Korg G5, Deep Impact, Octavius Squeezer, BOSS V-Bass series, etc.). |

Better than any chorus/phaser that I've tried. With an MXR Carbon Copy analog delay, I'm sorted for psychedelia! |

I'd hardly be playin' bass were it not for the wankfest!
I say a Boss PS-3.

The pulsing sound of anything you put before it can be pretty cool.
I've been using a Guyatone Flip VT-X tube tremolo pedal. |
