Interesting applications of line selectors/blenders So, I'm now in possession of an LS-2, and I have the feeling it's going to revolutionize my life. My first experiment is having crunch (Agro, BFD) followed by EQ on channel A, and Chorus, Flange and Delay on Channel B. I've set everything to unity volume. I absolutely love it...running everything, it's somehow rough and raw, yet polished and crisp at the same time. And having the delay (Carbon Copy) only on the clean channel can make for a very interesting effect, especially with the modulation on. My conclusions so far are: -This is awesome -I need more cables and a bigger board to make this work -The possibilities are mindbending So, to that last point, what kind of creative sounds and configurations have you folks conjured up using blenders? |
This is my favorite board that I gave up. The only two regrets I have in gear selling live on that board; the BMS and HOG. The silver pedal is my parallel looper. There was a lot that board could do. It did this on one instrument with no multitracking (vocals are exempted from this statement): http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=7783247 |
