I also requested that they fix the "change profil pic" setting that causes the app to crash.
The reply came within five minutes. "time for another bass expansion pack".
I love these guys!!
Can you imagine if they release a second bass expansion? It'll probably happen before even a single new bass offering in Amplitube. |

IK multimedia will most likely delete a bass amp then add one!!
Btw, I've posted "some" clips here earlier today.... You guys should stop me if it too much.... !

I've already found "my sound", with the GK (or Blueline depending on my mood) in Jamup, with the LA-2A comp. it makes the most beautiful grinding rock tone, and I have a bank of presets for different tones depending on my needs.
My biggest concern now is that my tone in Jamup has now surpassed my "real" amp tone. Seriously. This sounds BETTER than my actual bass amp!!
The concern happens because now I've gotta convince soundguys that this is the signal they want to use, NOT the DI on my amp. |

If they have something planned, they share. If there's something that needs fixed, they'll tell you if it's in an upcoming update (like the profile pic bug, they've already got the fix submitted).
This kind of customer relations don't go unnoticed. It means a LOT to me that we can get this level of support. |

I've no concern about not wanting an amp when I so satisfied with my tone.
My Ibanez 20W combo have no tone.... but my Sansamps are suddenly "old hardware".... |

i KNOW that Jamup will come out with another bass expansion before ik releases another single bass amp.... no doubt in my mind.

Loopy is one of the more complex ones, but only as complicated as you make it.
It's real easy to get it going, but if you dig deeper, it's an amazingly powerful app.
Jamup just makes my day every time I plug in. I'm still finding new tones and the ones I've got saved as presets (I've uploaded several of them) just straight up ROCK. |

| | How does he do that? | | | | In just 4 days (since 12/17/2012) this thread now has 297 posts and has been viewed 3,963 times. So it is definitely being watched... There are many lurkers ready to get out of the shadows. They KNOW they want an alternative to hauling all that gear day/night in and day/night out, so they come here to find out what's shaking.
Which means JamUp is in an excellent position to tap on a fairly large community because no one has become the "Amazon" of bass amp/efx emulation yet (did you hear that Positive Grid?).
