The TC polytune does not work with 30pin.

Very rarely. I was a hyperactive child but I'm allergic to all the medications that they use to treat it. So I learned to focus it when I found music.

Good to know. I actually use it before I got the Irig (with the iPhone mic) and was surprised at how accurate it is. It works through Irig.

Actually almost all tuners except the polytune are quite weak on tracking.

Maybe Jamup should make a tuner PEDAL instead of the tuner in the app. Then it could be added to the front of the chain, and (possibly?) mute the signal for on stage tuning.
Making it a pedal might also allow for a bit more functionality than just a simple VU meter.

I use the tuner in Guitar (ejem) Toolkit. I have found it is very accurate and tracks well. I took that screen cap without anything connected so it was going crazy all over the place. But when I tune with that and I plug my bass to my board it's spot on 99% of the time with my Korg Pitchblack.

Besides, my bass is always in tune... I'm the one that's not!

Edited to add: Yes it works through a 30-pin interface (the Apogee Jam).

Woah! That's a pricey app!! Not installing today but will add it to the list.

It looks like a very useful group of apps. What's the tab on the bottom, far right?

It's where you set your instrument.

I'd like I extend a HUGE thank you to Calvin and the gang at Positive Grid, for not only saving

The first part of that sentence is off I think....... You asked so.....
The rest of the post is great though in thought and execution.

I've been playing around and building a set of personal Presets that I like. I'll be recording some samples and posting to the SC JamUp group and I all share them in the JamUp app itself.

This thread moves too quick for me... I feel like I am always playing ketchup

There really should be a forum just for iOS based guitar and bass amp modelers. These threads really have outgrown themselves.

Duke, I have played a Redhead before, but it's been a good while. And I slept shortly after I posted

It had been a while since I had played throughout the redhead....to get the tone I remember the aural enhancer knob is maxed and the gain bumped to 80% but it really impressed me to the SWR sound that was in my head and it took zero tweaking on the EQ stack to get fantastic tone and clarity. With the subwoofer reinforcement where I play it was full rounded low mids that cut through the mix with ease. It was why I wanted to get jamup xt and haven't gone back to AT live since. The blueline is also great for some songs. Also for some songs now I put jamup's bddi in front of the b15 to get just a hair of grit in the highs and its also fantastic. Glad to hear you approve of duke's b15 sound.

Anyone else having a problem with exporting sounds from Loopy? I just tried to post a new clip to Soundcloud and everything was cool in headphones but if you listen to the clip you'll see that something went VERY wrong.

How many cents off is the tuner in jamup flat or sharp if you know how much then we could all just tune to however much off it is.

Got a chance to play through the pa tonight, and tweak things a bit more based on our recent discussions.

I'm still loving the Blueline, but I've got a great tone setup with the Redhead. In fact, I'm really digging every amp when played through a loud system. I even tried Jamup in front of my amp, and it made it sound better.

I posted a clip on Soundcloud that I did with Loopy, but it got messed up somehow. Still trying to work it out but apparently it works with headphones.
