Sorry about the price difference. I only get to see iPhone prices in the App Store.
On my iPhone 4S, I totally just pushed it pretty hard with zero ill effects.
Audiobus, Sunriser XS, Jamup and Loopy all running at once and not a single glitch and zero latency.
I also got the Sunrizer and I like it better then the NLog synth, much better actually.
Using a QSC RMX 850 and I'm using the apogee jam interface. What kind of cable will I need?

Something like this....you don't have to go monster those are overrated and overpriced but something like it and use only the left side or both if you have the channels going into a mixer of some sort would be ideal so you can di and have better control of volume and eq

I want to hear differences in the Mutron III and the Q-Tron (Jamup of course!)
I realize both are envelope filters so they will be similar, but can you show me the differences? Maybe a clip with both, but no backing music so the effect can be more upfront and exagerrated?

Btw, I've set both on the LP mode and drive on the Highs in order to achieve about the same type effect.
Which kind eventually other kinds of modes you are interested me to test?
Guys forgive me if its been mentioned or answered before but would it be possible to push my power amp with iPhone 5 running jamup xt? I'm a TOTAL noob in the iOS world and I have no idea if its possible.
Sorry, but the same questions keep coming up, and the same wrong answers keep circulating, so here goes:
Yes, you will get some drive with just an adapter cable, but you won't get the full power output or the best sound in most cases.
The headphone out of an iDevice won't drive a bass cab to even satisfactory bedroom levels without an external amplifier. A regular DI (active or passive) has no gain, and requires an external preamp as well as a power amplifier in order to interface between an iPhone or iPad and a bass cab.
If you have a pro power amp without a 1/4" unbalanced input, an adapter cable won't be enough. You'll need at least a DI, an audio interface, a small mixer, or a mic pre that has a balanced XLR output.
In most cases, the sensitivity of the power amp will be pretty low, and you'll need more gain than a DI or even a lot of preamp pedals can provide. The situation is better if you're going into the effects return of a bass amp or into a powered speaker, but you will likely still need some gain from an active device.
Good budget choices are:
- ART Tube MP mic preamp (cheap 1-channel tube preamp, all analog, all the gain you could need, also makes a great bass DI)
- Mackie 402VLZ3 (compact stereo mixer, balanced and unbalanced ins and outs, EQ, crazy-good preamps, lots of gain)
If we're talking an iPad rather than an iPhone, another option is the ART USB Dual Pre. It's an actual digital audio interface, requires Apple camera Connection kit, but it does A/D and D/A outside the iDevice. Other class-compliant USB audio interfaces will work as well, but compatibility is a bit spotty, and none of them will work with an iPhone.

Thanks! That showed me what I needed. I was curious as to how different the envelopes are, since they are essentially the same pedal. Buying the Q-Tron now.
Duke (and anyone else who owns both the Mutron III and the Q-Tron in Jamup:
What are the major differences? I'm checking out Duke's clip as well as some videos on YouTube, and it seems like the Q-Tron has a bit more adjustability.
Am I right? What's the reasoning for having both pedals? I'm buying the Q-Tron, just trying to figure out what I'll use it for.
The gain knob is one of the main differences. I didn't try the envelopes for their funky sides, just as a super EQ. And for that the Q seem to be a bit beefier and rougher then the MuTron.
The MuTron tone is a bit more glassy and thin, the Q Tron have a bit more balls even though the MuTron is a bit cleaner.
Btw, what diddly you think Rip about the tone in this clip? I use the PhdZ amp which have amazing sparkle and clarity/ definition even though it is not as clean as the Redhead. I've btw now idea what is the PhdZ amp.
Edit: based on this one
