EDIT: After checking it out on their site, it looks pretty cool, if it really is compatible. | I've considered the line6 unit as it it quite "cheap", well, compares to other 30pin interface.
But just as Rip, I've not seen many reviews and it was not clear how compatible is this device. |

Most of my recording I'm using the Alesis IO Dock, I need the interface for when I don't want to be tethered to one area. | The line6 and the GuitarJack units are using the iDevice power to drive the headphones, so I'm not sure how much better these are for driving "heavy" headphones, maybe Steve have some tech knowledge here. |

I recorded it on my external recorder so I can't share my exact tone, but set it up much the same way as the Env Filter and you'll see what I mean. | Thanks Rip!
Actually after our discussion yesterday regarding the placement of the MuTron before/ after the amp I tried the MuTron before the amp. The effect of the MuTron is totally different before the amp!!
I've also noticed that the MuTron could function as this super EQ but didn't get around to find its sweet spot! I for SURE check this one later today! |

Bam!
All good wish lists goin on
Any of the amp sim app developers could take any of these suggestions and do a kicking bass expansion.....someone needs to pick up on what the bassist needs.
I've said it before and I'll say it again
"It's a DI world for us bassist"
I may have to make it my signature.

it is possible to make out 20 but even someone with superb hearing of a 10 year old is barely hearing 19k and that kind if tone is a painful high pitch not used by anything musically I know there are supporting harmonic frequencies but come on 35Khz...... I did a tone generator hearing test on myself the other day and above 18k I could not hear it any more.....that's pretty common. A coworker of mine who is younger couldn't hear above 16,500hz. 20-20k is a stretch for the human ear.

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Dutchess County, NY | | I've never owned an iOs device, but I'm a looping bassist who loves effects. So I'm way out of touch with the use of tablets and smart phones for music creation. But I have a small DAW based project studio, so ideally I'm always looking for new ways to fire up the creative juices (although I rarely get the time to do so...). Some day I'd love to ditch the whole pedalboard, so this thread caught my interest.
Are these apps really on par soundwise with the current batch of modelers, softsynths, and DAWs? I find it hard to believe that a $10 app can be in the same league in terms of sound and functionality.
In a potentially serendipitous twist of fate, my 7 yr old daughter asked us this am if she could get a tablet for Xmas... hmmm... Quote:
