Btw Rip, I've posted 4 new clips on the Virtual Portaflex Club, using the B15, the Metal Zone, the Cry Baby and the Multihead. Don't know if you had a chance to listen to them.

I actually noticed the high/ low switch on Calvin's screen shot when he informed us about the upcoming update. He had the JCM800 on the screen and to my delight there was an additional knob which was not there before!!

And also nee on the last update is channel choice, left, right or even a mix of left and right! Perfect for my iTrack. Which btw works perfectly and I use it 90% of the time.

Oops. Missed something else. The Blueline now has 1-2-3 instead of just 1-2 switches. Man, I can't wait to plug in!!

Yesterday was a HUGE turning point. The pain is a lot better this morning, and so is my mobility.

Duke if im correct you have both the Apogee Jam and the Itrack. I need a mic to record my voice and the acoustic guitar. was thinking of buying the Apogee Mic (its received great reviews) and with my Apogee Jam im covered. And then i saw the Itrack and im in a dilemma.
Have you seen and difference in quality between the Itrack and the Jam? Because after all i ll be connecting my guitar too if i get the Itrack.

The effects slots thing is downright awesome. Can't wait to play with arranging pedals in new ways.

Plus the Audiobus part. Wow. PG did SO much with this update.

I repeat, Ampli-WHO??

I'm confused about the Apogee Mic.

Can't we just run any mic into the input on the Jam (with the proper cable, of course)??

I know having a mic with a built-in preamp is ideal, since there's no phantom power available, but what if we ran a normal everyday 58 into it? Has anyone tried??

I tried once a long time ago with Irig. It didn't end well. Haven't tried with the Jam.

The main bonus is (according to our high tech mentor Steve R) with the iTrack is the support for 96/24 in MT DAW instead of 48/24 with the Apogee Jam. In addition the iTrack is A/D and D/A which can give you better sound out. Not to mention an integrated headphone amp.
The main minus of the iTrack is this short and stiff cable between the iTrack and the iOS device. You will to buy an appropriate extension cable is you want more flexibility regarding the placement of the iOS device.
Both options are great, the iTrack pack some more features and maybe better tone/ quality (specially if you are going to utilize the 96/24 in your DAW) while the Apogee will cost you about half the price. Both solutions will be a good purchase.

If you want less hassle regarding cables, USB/ Apple power supply (a must) etc, go for the Apogee unit.

I guess we have to wait until Steve WAKES UP in order to obtain some in-detail lecture regrading the latest questions..
