Not only less noise but also more lows, more definition and more dynamics.

Anyone who is still using the Irig, do yourself a favor and throw it out. You're missing SO much of your tone. The Jam is amazing!!

I TOLD YOU SO!!!!!!

Pretty nice, isn't it.

Wow. Just wow.

I feel sorry now for anyone who starts their iOS quest with the Irig. I can't believe how much better it is. No amount of tweaking will get you this good of sound with the Irig.

before i was using the irig live and it even though it worked i was in a constant struggle to get it to sound the way i wanted it to ..... but now with JU and 30 pin no struggle just enjoy playing.

How about you now, having any thoughts of not being able to use IOS live?

At the moment, I think you might be. Although I'll definitely be using this every chance I get!

That does it, I am throwing out that iRig now. Or take it back to GC and get a refund.

Love it!!

Was that a jazz? If so, what' your pickup blend/bal, and where are you plucking?

Can you do me a favor? Can you record a clip with the LA-2A in front of the K800? Same bass as before?

I'll take this sample and your next one as homework for me to try to emulate that tone, and then I'll post for critique.

Thx!

Here's the GK, Blueline, and Redhead back to back, played fingerstyle, same riff.

http://soundcloud.com/rip_topaz/fingerstyle-comparison-gk-bl

All played on passive MIA P w/ rounds.

Still getting my presets situated now that my bass actually sounds like my bass, so the tones aren't 100% where I want them yet.

The second one is the Blueline.

If things sound distorted in any way, that's my fault. I just plugged in and played, so my settings (except for gain) are the same as my Irig settings. I've still gotta get all my EQs set up now that I'm not fighting noise.
