Anyone who is still using the Irig, do yourself a favor and throw it out. You're missing SO much of your tone. The Jam is amazing!! | Struggles for self control....
...fails.
I TOLD YOU SO!!!!!!
Pretty nice, isn't it. |

I feel sorry now for anyone who starts their iOS quest with the Irig. I can't believe how much better it is. No amount of tweaking will get you this good of sound with the Irig. |

How about you now, having any thoughts of not being able to use IOS live?

Was that a jazz? If so, what' your pickup blend/bal, and where are you plucking?
Can you do me a favor? Can you record a clip with the LA-2A in front of the K800? Same bass as before?
I'll take this sample and your next one as homework for me to try to emulate that tone, and then I'll post for critique.
Thx!

http://soundcloud.com/rip_topaz/fingerstyle-comparison-gk-bl
All played on passive MIA P w/ rounds.
Still getting my presets situated now that my bass actually sounds like my bass, so the tones aren't 100% where I want them yet. |

If things sound distorted in any way, that's my fault. I just plugged in and played, so my settings (except for gain) are the same as my Irig settings. I've still gotta get all my EQs set up now that I'm not fighting noise. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
