I know there are specific pedals for this, but for the sake of this thread and my dream for a complete iOS bass rig on my phone, lets keep it in app. |

Actually, they are launching a new IOS audio interface called iConnectMUSE. There was some stuff on their website about it a few months ago, but the pages are locked down now.
Google it as two separate words (iConnect MUSE), and you'll find some YouTube videos and other stuff on it.
Assuming that it gets past the vaporware stage at this NAMM, it looks really interesting. Tons of I/O, every gozinta and gozouta connector you can think of, really nice form factor.

fDeck's HPF preamp rocks. I've played with the latest version in the flesh, and it works much better than any EQ, parametric or otherwise. It's amazing how much subsonic stuff you can filter out of your signal with one of these.
You can actually watch your speakers go from pumping like crazy to barely moving, without losing any perceptible volume, heft or fullness. The amount of wasted headroom it recovers is ridiculous.
To implement that steep a digital high pass filter in an iPad audio app would be a simple matter of a bit of geek math, and having it would be AWESOME. |

The latest update rocks. I can use the iTrack with both channels now, and there are lots of improvements and new small features!!
It is not only me, but most/ all of us here really appreciate PG involvement and enthusiasm regarding supporting us bass players. Jamup and Positive Grid are for sure the bass amp sim for iOS!! |

It would be awesome to just have the pedal, because I'm finding myself using a ton of pedals to create the tone of the VT Bass, which leaves me without pedal slots for other effects. |
Rip we want the new VT bass DI!! SansAmp news from NAMM |

The GK sounds tighter now, the low end especially but the amp as a whole just sounds better. |

Plus, I've been focusing on my new band!! I get the stitches out today, and I'm hoping it allows me to work a little longer before having to stop for a break.
I've been dying to get to work rearranging the bandroom for the new project. It's a low-key, acoustic rock thing, so rehearsal setup needs to be as such. I'm planning a very comfortable setup for everyone so we can focus on creating some new music!!
I'll be posting full songs as we write them. I'm gonna try to record a few of them from start to finish using my iOS setup, so stay tuned for that. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
