I think it's supposed to be more of a b15 sim because the way the tolex look on the pedal and the new vt DI both looks like the squared checkered tolex look even though it gives settings to sound more like the SVT too. Vt just stands for valve technology...so the tech 21 folks are saying it is a valve sounding sim. With drive and distortion blends. That's my take on it. Not that I have any vt pedal manuals or tech21 product info.

While I'm sure they had a specific amp character in mind when first designing the VT, adding any adjustment to that immediately makes it a more "general" tone, and less specific to any one amp. |

Sorry, I am trying to catch up on the threads.
Enjoying the SoundCloud(SC) updates from the group. I can't believe how well the sounds are from the SC clips, can't wait to get the ART USB Dual Pre in the mail (I will then be rid of the iRig).
Amazing sound quality from Jamup and MT DAW. If it weren't for this group/thread I would still be using the Amplitube and dealing with the issues I was having.

The Eden can get quite gritty. I'm not sure which amp is most Eden out of the 4 in Jamup? |

I'd imagine choice of mic, positioning, pup types, pup blend, strings must also contribute somehow, not to mention how he is touching/attacking the strings.

Eden Is now owned by U.S. Music corp. i think.
Edit: Who also now owns Marshall, randal, eden, washburn, warwick and others.
good grief!!!!
Dave Nordschow has now started a new company called DNA. (David Nordschow amplification) I just found that out.... I bet they sound killer.

I've no idea who is the bass player, but string banging and fret sound is a part of this tone. Low action and active preamp as well. |

Your favorite enemies is a band from Canada I haven't heard any of their songs or anything but the video of this guy on the vt demo which sounds amazing (he's a good player but the pedal sounds great) he's also playing a custom bass from a company called MF from what I read on the YouTube video comments

Someone had mentioned also to try and upload to iTunes before going to SoumdCloud. When doing this what bit rate do you select and when you do the mix down will it permanetly make that song unable to be re-worked later, or does it only mix down for the exporting of the song. I just do not want to so something that cannot be undone. I also want the best sound quality as well. |

You can upload a WAV file in the highest quality, or just AAC / OGG. I choose 256 on AAC. |
