We are going to get a Para EQ for bass so we are fine outside the amp. |

3. VOLUME: Use this control to adjust the output level of channel one.
4. TREBLE: Use this to adjust the high frequency level of channel one. This provides up to 12 dB of boost, or 12 dB of cut at 4 kHz. The high frequency output is flat at the center position.
5. MIDRANGE: Use this to adjust the midrange frequency level of channel one. This provides up to 20 dB of boost, or 20 dB of cut at the selected frequency
[8]. The midrange frequency
output is flat at the center position. Rotate the control counter-clockwise
for a "contoured" sound (more distant, less midrange output) or clockwise for a sound which really cuts through.
6. BASS: Use this to adjust the low frequency level of channel one. This provides up to 12 dB of boost, or 12 dB of cut at 40 Hz. The low frequency output is flat at the center position.
7. ULTRA-HI: This switch, when engaged [right side down], enhances the amount of high frequency output of channel one. The amount of boost is dependent on the setting of the volume control [3].
8. 1-2-3: This switch selects the frequency that will be affected by the midrange control [5]. The available frequencies are 220 Hz [left side of the switch engaged], 800 Hz [switch in the center position], or 3 kHz (right side of the switch engaged].
9. BASS-CUT/OFF/ULTRA-LO: Engaging the left side of this switch decreases the low frequency output of channel one. Engaging the right side of this switch enhances the low frequency output of channel one. The switch is inactive in the center position. | I was so confused by this post till I went back in Jamup and looked this amp. It through me for a loop because I did not realize they added features to this amp as well. One question though. You keep mentioning Channel one. Are there 2 channels? |

Are there 2 channels? | On the real amp there is, yes. the second channel doesn't have a mid level control just treb. and bass. the ultra switches and cut switches are there but no mid control and no mid switches.....on jamup they give us the channel with more control (channel 1). i stopped giving the control descriptions after the channel one was done.

I'm debating my next pedal purchase, and it's looking like a distortion, but which one?
I'm down to either the Rat or the Metal Zone.
Anyone? |

I also asked this in the 101 thread, but does anyone have opinions/experience running Auria in iPad3 vs. iPad4? I'm trying to decide whether to go refurbished 3 or spring for 4. |

Anyone? | Metal zone have much more tone possibilities, a better addition to the BDDI then the Rat. The Rat is like the Tube Screamer, thus it's tone is limited to the internal voicing in a larger degree then the metal zone.
Out of them the Rat is a bit more mid scooped then the Tube Screamer while the metal zone have 3 band EQ which offer more adjustment then the other 2. |

If you subscribe to his channel, I'm sure Ken will answer any questions. |

They all sound great but do not have that true speaker and mic sound to them, which I like. I just remember seeing an amp discription from them talking about the blueline saying to pair it with the 8x10 to re-create the legendary sound. To me it does not sound like a cab is being used, so I was not sure if that is some kind of option I have not found yet. |

Just a touch is enough. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
