Rip you reminded me of something with the pic of the blueline. That 3way mid selector switch on the amp, I can only get 2 options out of it. Is it really a 3way now or did they just change the look of it?

It's supposed to be a three way switch. I'm assuming they'll add the third position in a future update.

I haven't tried these settings through the PA yet, so I don't know how squishy they'll be. Through headphones, with my MIA P w/ rounds, it doesn't squash so much as level everything out. I'll try to get a recording this afternoon if I can.

I posted it in the other thread as well.
I m tempted to buy iTrack but Apogee announced the new Apogee One.But its so expensive compared to iTrack, 200$ more.
Is it really worth it or we re just paying here the name of the brand?
Steve can tell probably..

Here's a quick clip of the insane compression experiment. Let me know how it sounds, it should be just on the edge of exploding no matter the speakers.

http://soundcloud.com/rip_topaz/compression-addiction

I like it but its definitely way too much for most situations. I do like the blue compressor a lot, though.

IK is bragging the App Store top spots again on their Facebook.

According to the App Store, Amplitube is in the top five on iPad and iPhone, again.

Listened to it on my HiFi, first part sound good, but can quickly become muddy if there are lots of instruments in the mix. But given space like on The Police it will work great! Second part was also very nice and I think will work better in a bigger band.

I'm thinking similar settings on the B15 would result in a really cool early 70's tone, kinda like the DI sounds on Wings records. That's what I'm eventually headed towards. That straight into the board, just on the edge of distortion tone.

What do you use on the 2nd part of the clip? Do you just press the BL to distortion with the blue comp?

The B15 can have more clarity which can be nice.

Thanks! Great to hear my "drumming" start to form into something useful!

Not exactly. The second half of the clip is the blue comp->BDDI->Blueline->LA-2A.

Yes, there was too much top end sparkle for the BL alone.

I'm still gonna be tweaking it and trying different combinations. That was just a very fast, crank it and go test.

Given the popularity of AudioBus, I'm confident that developers will fill the effects void, and soonish.
I'm tempted to get Audulus and run my bass through that, but that would mean I'd have to upgrade to iOS 6 on my 3rd gen iPad. Is it safe to upgrade now?

Well, the marked department do need to use their strongest argument which is the selling chart. Good for them, good for the guitar players, I assume, I do not play guitar.
Actually, both Ampkit and Amplitube have excessive noise when running a hot guitar amp, so I can't think a guitar player is totally fine with that, unless he doesn't take the app seriously!
