I can do that with my art interface outside jamup. But no not in jamup itself.......so far.
That would be a very welcomed addition to many people though. If the guys at PG had enough requests for it on their site I think they would consider that option in a future update. Great guys over there at PG. they are very "musician first" minded ;D

After finally ditching the iRig for the Apogee Jam and buying Jamup Pro XT, I see what all the fuss is about. AMAZING! Question, and sorry if this has been covered elsewhere, is there a way to blend the direct sound (straight off the Jam) with the affected Jamup sound - analogous to mixing a mic'd cab track and a direct box track? From what I'm reading, might take AudioBus to run a mixer-type app? But sure would be nice to do it internally in Jamup. Thanks all.
In jamup you can mix right and left channel if you have iTrack. PG have added this feature in the last update following our request.

Thanks much. I'm looking for iTrack - is that the Focusrite iTrack Solo interface or the Zoom R-iTrack app? Pretty sure you don't mean the GPS tracking app.

Cool, thx. All I have is the Apogee Jam. I may just do the blend outside of Jamup until they add it as a dry/wet mix control - Positive Grid seems to really be on the ball, so I'm confident it'll be a short wait.
One last thing, would be nice if able to take the dry signal tap just before the amp model (post Noise Gate and LA-2A comp). Would be really cool for guitar as well
Apogee jam and iTrack solo sound about the same to me on recording (using the same bit depth etc). iTrack sound a tad better live due to the D/A part. Both are great.
My second submission to the Prieto bass tone contest is posted.
So 3 to go. So far I keep myself in my own "territory" as I've used so far guitar amps.
But don't worry, I'll come up with something on a bass amp!
Hey prieto,
Check this out: Tech21 VT-Bass - where's the magic ?
Some really cool RTA snap shots of the VT Pedal.
I don't know how technically challenged you are, with terminology. But this really put in perspective to me on the magic that flows from the vt pedal.

Hey, thx for sharing Adam! I'll be sitting down later in the evening and read through that whole thread. I'll be sharing my thoughts first chance I get.
Gasp!!!!!!
Just kidding.....whatever works for you best.
I find AT's recorder much more user friendly.

The rest of how I feel about the app is well documented

Lol. Sure is!!
I've grown to prefer Multitrack DAW. Since Audiobus arrived, I'm able to use other apps for the effects and stuff that I'd normally add to a recording. MTDAW is a very stripped down app, and that's what I like about it.
I like MT DAW much better then the 8 track recorder in AT, in ever aspect. The 8 track recorder on AT have one strong point which I miss in MT DAW, and it is the possibility to re-amp a track.
Btw, for those who follow my work on The Circle, here is the very first draft of The Circle. I had the initial bassline kind of ready, so I've tried to add some midi keyboard.
So, her is the very draft, written on Tux Guitar (freeware version of Guitar Pro) https://soundcloud.com/duke21/the-circle-the-very-start
Quite different then my current version which kind of took an other direction after I wrote/ played the intro....
