The other day my youngest son could not sing a certain song and asked us to go down to another key, and I was able to transpose my part on the fly... I felt so proud.

Thx for reading.
Wow. Our experiences are like bookends.

You took up music in order to be closer to your son, I guess I took it up to be closer to my dad, a professional musician.

That's nice. Yeah, music is great to bring people together; it helps us connect beyond words or reason.

Yes, indeed.
I'll post my story here as well.
But until then, I've tried today a play along in DAW, posted a clip on SC.
So far, I've my sound with my Ric, and it is the B15 with the Rat.
Today I've found a nice tone for my P bass when I've tried to play some Mew songs. SVT BL with the BDDI gives the right hair there for my P.
My Geddy, well, haven't nailed yet any particular thing for the Geddy. But I think maybe the Redhead is the right direction.
People, Jamup is really becoming something I really dig, and with the DAW it is way better then AT!!

Speaking of which, an AT update notification just showed up on my phone. Reason? Jimi. And NOTHING else. Gotta love a company that gives you an update of an outstretched hand.

I've deleted AT from my iPad mini. I clear all I can space for Jamup, Audiobus, MT DAW and the Moog. I still have AT on my iPad 1, but I might remove it from there as well. The B15 and the Rat give me what I need from my Ric. The SVT and the BDDI give me the tone I need from my CV60 p bass.
What Jimi used? Marshall?

I updated with the hopes that they fixed the bugs in the B15 model, and it wanted me to restore my purchases. I clicked on okay, and it went a little nuts... Probably 10 popups alternating between "Restore In-app Purchases" and "Ampeg B15R model not purchased."

Whee!

Same thing happened to me once before too. If mine comes up and says my in-apps are gone, every piece of IK gear in my house will go in the trash. I've dumped a crapload of money into that app, and I refuse to do it again.

They just responded on the IK forum. Didn't give a fix though. Kinda blew it off.

"These issues can be reported to support and they will help you out. Suggestions here seem straightforward and helpful but proceed with caution (as it seems is clear) when the resolution/suggestion is not from Tech Support: http://www.ikmultimedia.com/support "

works fine on the ipad though
here is what the hendrix bundle is comprised of:

Amps
- an AT version (not Marshall endorsed) JH Gold on the "british 100 watt amp"
- an AT version (Not Fender endorsed) JH Dual (1968 Dual Showman) Jimi used in 68 and 69

Stomps
- Fuzz Age, germanium transistor fuzz
- Octa-v, a fuzz box with frequency doubling circuit that produces a second note an octave above the fundamental note
- Uni-v, optical phaser/chorus. chorus/rotating speaker simulator with speed control
- Wah 46 ( jimi's wah)

So for 14.99 you can get a dual Showman with revamped pedals that are already in the app. a fuzz, an octave, a phaser, a chorus, and a wah.

rip you were right .......yawn..
the Dual is intriguing me though i will have to admit ............ its 4.99 alone.
.....eh.

Sorry to hear about the buggy new update regarding iPhone....haven't tried to update AT yet. Adam, have they fixed the GUI on the B15R, or must we wait a year or two for that?
The Dual Showman, I liked it on the Line6 Basspod XT pro, was one of my favorite amps there. A month ago I would no doubt buy the whole pack if not just for the Dual Showman. But not now. And these amps are not even endorsed! How can they call it the Jimi pack?
Double yawn! Even a guitar player should be bored by this. Very popular pack my a#*%*. Rip you are right, an app for bedroom playing. They should have actually release the Metallica pack instead.
