Iron ether Xerograph deluxe

Soooo I am very intrigued buy this pedal.. How does it rate against others of the same type? Is an expression pedal ideal with the deluxe?

Destroys most other Low Pass Filters and/or Envelope filter (especially for synthiness).
Gotta have that expression pedal for DEM SWEEPSSSSS

It's the only LPF I've used, but it put my other filter pedals out to pasture (SABEFpro, MXR BEF).
I don't usually use an exp pedal but it's cool to have. I use a Moog EP-2. A fuzz like the Oxide is more important IMO.

It's an amazing pedal. Super powerful and not for everyone. One of the very best sounding LPF's out there.

OK so would a grey stache or muff style fuzz sound good too?

Into the Xero? "Signs point to yes." The Xero loves all kinds of fuzzes IME.

The Oxide was made to pair with it. Putting the Oxide on it's gated side and having an Octave pedal makes for some Nice synthiness.

Schweet, oh I'm sure I'd put things in front behind on top (uh that's what she said?).... seems like an awesome crazy pedal. Will have to get some funds together. Im Getting ready to record some BASS heavy tunes. And I have the opportunity to go insane with it. that's why I'm asking!

I haven't used a 'Stache but my TFR and PPB muff clones sound good. Not as good as the Oxide though. I guess it's because the Oxide has a broader spectrum of frequencies which allows the filter to work it's magic over the full sweep.

The Oxide into the Xero D is sublime....very synthy! I also feed the following into the XD - Fairfield Unpleasant Surprise, Source Audio MWBDP, and the WMD Geiger Counter (as a super-nasty distortion).

BUT, my current favorite is feeding a Boss OC-2 into the CoPilot Orbit fuzz....that into the XD hits you like a bowling ball to the chest!

I have never met a fuzz that the Xero doesn't sound killer with.

It is the best sounding filter I've tried IMO.

The Demo with the " upcoming " pitchtracking squarewave on the IE page is giving me crippling GAS .
