It is a new rat that has been modded with all that stuff. They are small as far as I've seen

I picked up a rat2 with the lm308 that was heavily modded a few months back. It popped up on CL for $85

Yes, you got ripped off. Resale for a RAT2 with the lm308 and a toggle w/ diodes on it for bass is not worth the same as a big box or vintage RAT.

Arnte rat's already true bypass? I know the switch is a dpdt so it wouldn't make sense for it not to be. At least the switch in the ones I have had to fix.

That is not a Keeley mod and all RAT2's (and the later Big Box RATs are already TB).

The keeley mod has a 3 way diode clipper, different caps, modified tone stack, blue LED, etc.

You got boned.

You basically paid for his time to mod it (which after eBay fees is about what I used to charge for modding rats).

Regardless, tonally a rat2 doesn't compare well to a vintage or reissue.
