| The suggested presets are a good place to start and a reasonable approximation of the various tones they're supposed to cop. Depending on your bass and amp, you'll probably want to tweak things a little.
Personally, when I plug in a bass I haven't played in awhile, I typically start with the treble and bass at 12 o'clock with just a little of drive and presence mixed in and go from there. The EQ controls are extremely sensitive, so make small, incremental changes to dial it in just right.
I've always found the SansAmp to be a blessing in the studio, and the engineers I've worked with have never had anything negative to say about them. Good luck (and, most importantly, have fun). |
