Just got a Digitech Stereo Looper JML2

Hi
I haven't messed with it too much yet, but first impression is it seems like a solid pedal. The manual is ok, but could be better.

Anyone else try one out?

The manual states that it will only record a max of 10 minute loops! It advertises 16 hours of MP3 quality tracks...so you can dump many tunes from your computer on to this...WHEN the software is available..not yet.

I wanted to record some band practices for a rough idea of what songs sounded like when I wasn't engrossed in my parts...I guess I'll have to keep starting and stopping for every song..bummer.

Anyone chime in...thanks

Dimensions

Hi! Congratulation for purchase! I'm curios to know your impressions and feedback about the sound and its use.

A question... (on line there are opposed versions about these)
What are the precise dimensions of Stereo Jamman?

Thank you in advance!

I'm sorry if i'm unpleasant...

but, now, i notice that the JML2 owner's manual has been put on the Digitech official website.
The dimensions in this are:

6.84” (L) x 6.70” (W) x 2.89” (H)
173.6 mm (L) x 170.1 mm (W) x 73.4 mm (H)

Can you tell me about this???

Yours are different...

Yours are correct....I found the dimensions on some retail site....but the manual says what you have.

I never understood why one must "tap tempo" ....since that really sicks as a practice tool.

They should make the ability to assign a numerical value so you know what the tempo actually is...sigh.

Also the Jammanager software isn't even finished yet!!!

After having the unit for a month....I can post some thoughts.

The tone is pretty good, but if you drastically speed up or slow down the original recording you WILL get some artifacts going on.

The 2 biggest bummers for me....you can only record 10 minute loops...so if you want to record a practice pon this thing...you will have to start a new loop every couple of songs.

Also, for some reason you can't play along to your MP3 player (aux in) while your bass is plugged in.
Ugh...you must record every frikken song to a track, then you can play over it.

Been traveling with it....TSA treats it like a laptop.

Anyone else have this thing yet?

Just got mine 2 days ago.

I've had limited time to mess with it, but it seems to do what I need it to do: Grab phrases while I'm playing and repeat them. As I integrate it more into our band, I'm sure I'll discover more goods and bads.
