You can get a 9v clip adapter to use with a 9v daisy chain. I do this myself with the green version Russian Big Muff.

Not to nitpick, but there is no such thing as a Russian BBM. Just a BM.

It attaches to the end of a Boss-style plug, yes. It could be a standalone power supply (with the correct voltage/polarity), a double-ended male plug, or one point of a daisy chain.

The other end clips onto the pedals' battery clip (obviously)

Also, what pedal board did you get?

He said NOT TO NITPICK....as in he is not nitpicking by pointing out that that russian big muff is not a bass big muff, which might I add is a very good point since they are two completely different pedels and are not to be confused with eachother.

There is no point in getting all defensive when someone points out that something you said is not correct. If anything you ought to be thanking him for pointing that out .

No Problem.

The battery cover on your Russian BMP (for pi) should still clip in. I actually use 2 of the battery clips (one with a different pedal) in my setup, and the clip-in battery cover stays on.

None of the Russian Big Muff's (previous or current) have a power-jack, they are battery powered only. Unless you do the 'pigtail' thing mentioned above.

I almost posted what he posted. BBM stands for Bass Big Muff.

he wasn't attacking you, just trying to stem further confusion

Get the adapter. the Black Russian is a Bass Machine!

I rock one with the adapter and it works just fine

Beware of the NYC one. It will sap your low end and dirty up your tone hella quick.

If you're looking for a muff, you might fare better w/ a Bass Big Muff or a 'vintage' clone, more so for the former being that new are new to the game w/ effects. There seem to be a few complaints about the black russian, NYC, and some for the Little Big Muff.
There have been very few people, at least on TB, that have totally hated the Bass Big Muff.
