This is a nice little piece of equipment. IMO just as much quality as the PX5D in a very small package. I'm amazed at how small this is... and only $99!! Also, they have introduced pitch adjustments for AUX IN audio which is pretty handy.
Still exploring.

Still exploring. | yeah, I have the PD4, and the one effect I do use is the pitch adjust. I just use it for learning tunes and practice, so all the rest of the FX seem like a waste to me.
I hope the new one eats batteries less than the mine!!

but it's in there.
And while it doesn't *sound* great, it is darned useful for learning tunes.

If any TBers come up with a viable (*) solution, please post.
(*) Rugged, reliable, reversible, non-destructive.

Only flaw I have found so far is background noise. Don't know if it's caused by bad cable/headphones/... Not that annoying but if you guys have any suggestions on how to get rid of it, feel free to let me know.
Take care |

| | | | Assuming the backlight can be turned off, what is the battery life on this thing both with and without backlight?
I remember a lot of complaints about battery life on the PX4 and PX5D, but I always got quite a bit of use out of them when the light was turned off.
Knowing how flexible and stretchable those silicon cases are for I-devices, I wonder if one could find something like that to work on either the Mini or PX5D....

There's also a voiceless whistling kind of sound (really don't know the word, maybe it's called 'white noise'?) whenever the strings are vibrating. |
