The Freeze is as cheap and accessible as it gets and the CS-3 is a compressor and will not infinitely sustain a note.

Do you want to freeze and infinitely sustain or are you looking for a compressor to help with sustain, dynamics, etc. If it's the former, go with the Freeze. If it's the latter, go to http://www.ovnilab.com/.

The Freeze will do what you want and it's not all that expensive.
