Justice Song Tone

Hey everyone. I did a quick search to see if this was addressed before, but it seems that it wasn't. I was wonder what kind of effects would work well in trying to recreate something like the bass tone from Justice's song D.A.N.C.E.

I know this was probably played on a synth, but I'm curious as to whether it could be pulled off with bass and effects.

no it was played with a bass.. has been discussed a few times on this forum. think its like a tube screamer with more distortion from the amp...with a ric or something..

From the thread I thought everyone decided that it was a synth bass. Or you could get close to it with a heavily compressed regular bass. I'll do a quick search and post back if I have time.

Yeah, I'd say you should get pretty close with a lot of compression and a little bit of drive.
