Holy crap! This guy has been a member since August of 2006, and this is his first and only post! That, my friends, is poetry. Dark, perverse poetry. I tip my hat, sir, to you.

As tribute to such an epic

I'm going to point you to this thread, revealed via the search function, page uno. Why, it's like Christmas in July!

OP missed the chance to claim the perfect post... if only he would have added a lolcat onto the end.

That means he's been lurking for two years, reading our threads and calculating what would be the most diabolically inane question he could possibly ask, to rile us up and get our collective goat.

Well, thank god it's over with.

The most diabolically inane, IMO, would have involved the Digitech Bass Whammy.

Or he could have thrown Tim Commerford and Chris Wolstenholme into the mix just for the heck of it... he's already mentioned two excessively-referenced bassists here... why not a few more?

the way this thread is panning out, it should be made into a teenyhorror flick or something.

A young Tool fan naively wanders into the a magical forest, full of wonder and joy, still having confidence in the kindness of man. Boy, was he wrong; little did he know he was about to get gangraped by hordes of irritated bassists. "Search! Search! Do a search!" their warcries echoed through the trees. Sadly, the young man was never heard from again. Although, some say, on cloudless and moonlit nights, you can still hear his voice through the woods...

"I'm sorryyyyyy..... I'll do a search next tiiiiiimeeeeee...."

Others say it's only the wind.
