Okay, so I came across this website... http://www.moltenvoltage.com/whammy_mods.html
And there's a company modifying Digitech Whammy pedals (the current one) so that you get true bypass, and you can make your own settings using a pitch limiter.
This means that you can...wait for it...play Tool's Disposition without having to resort to a cheap, or expensive and complex multi-FX unit or shilling out hard-earned cash for an original Bass Whammy.
Just giving you some good news.

I admit these are cool mods, but that treadle range is terrible. The WH-1 has a huge sweep, but there's no way I'm gonna try and get that modded!
