Keeley Nova Wah low end response

I'm thinking if this pedal could be the one for me. The main purpose for me is to be able to sculpture my sound for a couple of passages in songs. I am aware that the pedal can give some distorted sounds and that might be just enough dirt for me.
Is the low end acceptable or do I need an eq pedal to boost the low end on this fixed wah? I also want to know if the Nova Wah can handle a low B.
I will use this besides my other pedal, an Analogman Bicomprosser and maybe in the future a Prunes and Custard.
I'am curious if some of the TB'ers have experience with the Nova Wah.
