Kimbara (Shin-Ei) Vintage Wah

Picked this up on ebay recently since I've developed a bit of a wah fetish.

Don't really know what possessed me to get it really but I'm glad I did.

It seems to me like it leaves the low end perfectly intact. I think it sounds quite phasery

This is done using my Valenti Jazz (Passive mode) into the Kimbara then the Fuzz is the Mojo Hand Huckleberry then into a Bass POD XT set to Tube Preamp but mainly used as an audio interface into Audacity, then I've just boosted it because the POD XT is apparently really quiet when I use it to do fx clips.

That wah pedal sounds very very good. You better hang on to that gem!

No love for the wah

Oh well I can't wait to get this thing in the practice room with my gt200 and 8x10

I also got a Fuzzsaw and Sovtek clone today so lots of toys to play with over the weekend

sounds good with the huckleberry - though I feel like it might sound even better if not for that fuzz's extreme mid scoop - there'd be more to filter with more mids

Well I'm running Wah into Fuzz in that clip

I do have plenty of fuzz's to try some different combinations

I'm looking forward to getting my Shin-Ei fuzz clone, I think they'll make a very interesting combo together
