Is there a way to modify a opto stomp to change the pad? I would want to try a-10db and -5db.

Thanks!

I hope somebody with more knowledge then I posts, but I believe an input pad is a just a pull down resistor that sends some of the signal to ground. Changing that resistor value (or replacing with a pot) should work.

Depends on the way it's built. You can attenuate the signal either with a voltage divider (2 resistors) or just with one resistor in the signal path or a very low tuned low-pass or a very high tuned high pass filter or a combination of both.
