korg AX multi effect pedals

Anyone own one of these things? They have two models a big sucker for like 150 bucks and a smaller one for like 75 bucks.

Would like to know if they are worth the money because they really seem cheap for all the stuff they come with. Having been a dj in the past korg makes very cool stuff.

the ax3000B has my favorite flange, and suboctave. the envelope filter is 2nd only to an original mutron. the only chorus i like more is the analogman (and the korg's choruses are way more tweakable) it also has very usable delays and reverb, tremelo, manual wah, the synth sounds, though limited, are very comparable to deep impact / korg G5 sounds, and plus the programmability and layout are all so convienent.

i'd pay a LOT more than $200 for that unit if i needed too.

My ax3000 is very user friendly once you work on your setting a little. The big thing that I don't like about it is that it seems to have a lot of hissis and gurgles going on behind many of the settings and even with the noise reducer it still is prevelent with the notes when played. I wonder if I am doing something wrong or is this common with these efects units. Anyway I like it other then that.

I own a korg "toneworks" ax3000b and I think it's totally awesome. the modulation effects is very lushful. it has the most lushes chorus effects that you'll ever hear out of a multi-effects processor. the distortion channels sounds pretty cool. I like orange distortion and shred distortion the most. the amp models sounds awesome. I personally like the scoop model. the cab models is very useful when you're recording music directly through a mixing board. I dig how the 4x10 modern cab sounds. and considering that you're a dj, I think you'll definitely dig the synth sounds from the ax3000b. the one cool thing about the synth sounds is that you can combine it with one of the distortion channels. this will enhance the synth sounds. it can give you a prodigy sound that way. if you're curious about the toneworks ax3000b, I'd say give it a shot. you might like it. I definitely recommend the korg "toneworks" ax3000b to anyone who wants to try something new.

Thanks for the info guys. Ya I'm looking for something with some cool effects and even more is the amp and cab models. It looks like the cheaper model has all the same models as the other one.

Anyone got any detailed info on the modeling part of the pedal? The last poster mentioned it just really want some good info on those and if these sound good or not?

I've got a Korg Toneworks AX1B and it's okay. Some of the effects are barely usable, especially the flange and phaser; they sound like they're just....."on top" of your tone, instead of actually changing it.
