Searching for info on the Korg unit, I found these very useful youtube videos.

I don't know if anybody posted it before, but here it is.
It's a nice review of the possibilities of the two units.

Thanks to user 0021fj.

Here's his channell with the clips:

LOL. I thought the "naff synth" one was the best

Reminds me... i gotta test out the synths on the X3. See if they're any better

Man, I love the sound at about 5:35 in Part 1. I love my BOD XT Live, but I REALLY wish it could make semi-organic synth sounds like that! Thanks a ton for posting this!

Alrighty - I finally found a synth tone I can use on the BOD XT Live (and I'm very excited about it). It was supposed to be used in my band's cover of "Toxic" but I was kinda drunk and switched it on instead of the phaser at the beginning - happy accident!

All it is is the rez-synth (don't recall which setting) and the sub-dub model (thank you JMJ!) and the result can be heard on my band's myspace during the opening of "Thieves," (assuming the page/player loads): http://www.myspace.com/goldandglass

I do like the my Ax3000b, it's certainly good for the price, I paid around £110 I think.

Yeah, I sold mine and I regret it. If Korg had put a little more thought into it it would have been a great unit. The compressor sucks and that ESS thing is a bit of a waste of space but the mod section, reverbs and delays are great. Its much more fun to use than the Boss GT's. Shame it doesn't quit sound as good. Lets hope they do an AX4000B.
