Korg DTR-1000 or Korg DTR-2000? Does it really matter?

I am confused on the difference here and wondering if the 2000 was even worth the extra money? Thanks for any input.

If you're a normal bassplayer you'll have more than you will ever need in the 1000.

Yeah it does that, and much more. I love my dtr1000, very nice tuner!

It's chromatic; it will do fine for you

If you can, see if you can find a good used Korg DTR-1, I used one for 2 years straight on tour even though I bought an older model on Ebay. Never had to have it calibrated at all, solid.

My guitar player bought a DTR-1000 and never really liked it, he preferred the little korg chingas on his pedal board instead. He just said it wasnt as precise.

Good luck,

Haz

From another thread - here's my response regarding their differences:

Rack Tuners

But yeah, you most likely don't need the extras. Few people do. The primary advantages are the acoustic mic tuner and rack lights, neither of which are necessary for most bassists.
