Korg DTR-1000 not fast enough

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi TB,
I own a Korg Dtr 1000 and I think it is not fast enough to find notes... Am I the only person who think that ?
I like the rack mounted gear but I start thinking that pedal are faster.... (TU-2, polytune)
You know a fast ang good tuner rackmount ?
Thank you

I own several Korg rack tuners and they've all been fine. Making sure that your bass is strobed and intonated on a regular basis will help immensely in improving the accuracy and tracking speed of both your tuner and any pitch based effects you may have at your feet. A solid level and a clean, un-effected signal going in is another consideration. What is your signal chain going into it?

PS If you want really fast and accurate, try a Peterson Stroborack.

thanks man but I don't think the problem is my bass... It is really slow and I plug my bass in the tuner input directly and the tuner.

The small Korg CA-40 is way faster than the DTR-1000 (which looks cooler in the rack).

You're completely right, that racktuner is slow. However, I wouldn't give it away since it comes in handy when everything is set up in the rack.
