Must be the day for mid-80's Korg pedals. I posted a pic of my Chorus from this series in another thread:
http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showth...t=#post7403759

I like my Chorus, had a phaser and tried the flanger for this series. They are solid pedals built like tanks and sound good too. They tend to loose a little of the low end with bass as they were made for guitar, not bass. Also they work better with passive basses than actives IMO. When I use mine, I run this and other pedals in a loop with a blender so I keep part of the the original signal.

I doubt I will ever sell my Korg Chorus because it is good and hard to find. If I see a clean used Korg Phaser and Flanger at a descent price ($50 or so), I would definately get them. Would probably get the overdrive from this series if I find a Flang and Phaser, would be cool to have an all Korg board.

hmmmmm i wonder if their pedals have synth attributes from their synth modules/stand alone analog synths.

To my ears, they sound like straight up guitar effects, not synth like. I do like the mode 1 and 2 settings for the chorus. Mode 1 is chorus, mode two is more flanger like. Nice 80's style pedals none the less.

Had one a while back. Played clean, but noticably thin for bass.

In the $50 range, a BF-2 or BF-3 blows away the Korg, IMO.

You should also be able to find a dod fx72 for around 50 bucks as well. I actually prefer the dod to either boss
