KORG PITCHBLACK TUNER QUESTION

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm really digging this turner on dark stages, but, was wondering if there is a way to keep the turner " on " while still playing ? In other words, tuning during a song without losing sound ?

No, you can't--the Pitchblack's "output" jack bypasses the tuner circuitry.

If you hook it to a tuner out or a signal splitter then you can keep it on all the time. If it is a link in a chain then no.

No, but more and more amps are coming with a tuner out option and also the EB volume pedal has a tuner out as well. You could also buy a signal splitter with two outs and run one to the rest of your chain and the other to the tuner, but remember that you won't be able to use it as a mute switch either.

I've never tried running a tuner in the amps effects loop. I assume it would work.

I have a Line6 G50 wireless mounted on my board that has a designated tuner out. I want my tuner first in my chain though, so I can mute at a moments notice. My straplock squeaks are being picked up through the pickups and I mute my whole signal between songs.
