Ok im looking at one of these and wanted to know some stuff about it. I know its got a lot of effects, but does it work like an effects pedal??? can you plug it into you're amp and have the effects come throught that(i use a fender rumble 75 combo).

I want this in particular because of the huge array of effects at a slightly cheaper price.

Yes, a multieffect like the PX4D allows you to run your guitar into it, with the signal then feeding headphones or an amp. It runs multiple effects at once.

I suggest you look online for a manual, and for a few youtube videos as well, to get an idea of what it will do.

Bear in mind that it doesn't operate like a true effect pedal. It's a desktop/handheld unit designed for practice. As such, the only way to change sounds/patches/effects is by hand, there's not remote footswitch for live use.

If you want the convenience of the form factor with remote footswitch options, look at the newer PX5D.

Zoom, Korg, Digitech, Boss..... take your pic. The small zoom B2.1 is a perennial talkbass favourite.
