Those things are awesome! I never tried it on bass though, at the time I was doing more musique concrete stuff, but it did make great sounding noises when fed input from a range of uncommon sources.

That's pretty standard for analog synth...

Kinda like piping up about a Cadillac when all you really want to afford is a KIA.

Yeah but I can't think of anywhere that I would use a bass synth, especially a 300 dollar on that has to be hand operated. I'm very aware of the price of synth pedals, I just wouldn't use em a whole lot.
