I just purchased a Boss CEB-3 Bass Chorus pedal from a local store. I brought it home and found it won't work. I went back to the store and they wouldn't exchange or refund.. they said to take it up with BOSS. Well I was extremely annoyed and called Boss to see what could be done. The woman I spoke with was amazingly nice (and sounded extremely hot )
She seemed very interested in what I had to say about the local vendor, and gave me a RA number so I could return the pedal and get a new one from them.
Well I was still a bit disapointed since I have a gigs Saturday - Wednesday and needed the pedal since my Rocktron went out. I got a call backa round 15 minutes later, and she said she had spoken to her boss about the situation I was having with the local vendor. She said her boss agreed to send me a brand new pedal immediately, 2nd day air.. so I can get a new pedal as soon as possible and so I'ma ble to have the pedal at least for the last 2 days of gigs. She then told me that her next phone call would be to her National Rep to let him know about the problems I was having with the local vendor and that they will make sure it is taken care of.
I just wanted to let everybody know of the great service I received from Roland, went from so pissed I was never going to buy from them again, to a definite future customer, just because of how they stood by their products, and how they went out of there way to help a customer.. Kudos Roland!

Wow... that's a pretty shady shop if they wouldn't let you at least exchange it.

At least Boss has great customer service!

Yes! Boss' Customer service is 2nd to none I was shocked at how kind and interested she was in the situation .. and the owner of this shop (Note: All Florida bass players do NOT... Go to Schumacher Music) ... is a Berkley Graduate and doesn't give two rat's A$$E$ about his customers.... this is not the first problem I had with him, and Guitar Center and Sam Ash are 45 minutes + away ..therefore, MusiciansFriend, and TB are my new source for gear.

Wait... Berklee or Berkeley?

Because if it's the latter, he's lying... he must have gone to Stanford.

BTW, you should look around TB for some of the horror stories we get about Musician's Friend.

Yea it's Berklee .. trying to do it in a small box so my boss didn't see lol.... but yea, I just got off the phone with the National Rep who apologized emphatically and said he will rectify the problem as soon as possible.
