| Latching/momentary switches

If I had a TBP pedal, for example an EHX Stereo Pulsar, and I wanted to replace the latching footswitch with a momentary one (so that the effect would only be on when I was standing on the switch), is it just a case of buying a different type of switch and soldering it in place?
