Left the unit on for 24 hours, should I worry?

We set up last night for tonight's gig and I accidentally left my Art Tube Pac per/compressor after sound check. Showed up for the gig 24 hours later and played for three hours. It sounded fine, but it was HOT to the touch when I was done. Did I do damage to the unit? Should I retube the AX7s or just be more careful in the future?

next time you plug in, assuming its had ample time to cool down, if nothing seems wrong, then more likely than not..nothing is wrong.

but yeah, you might want to be a bit more carefull.

You probably just broke your tube in.

You'll be good.

When amp techs retube amplifiers, they put them through a 'burn-in' period, and they leave them running for days. They might turn them off every night, but still, they go through the ringer.
