Legendary Pedals

Sign in to disble this ad
I was wondering what people would deem as a legendary pedal. Something that really changed bass. No restrictions on year, make, type etc. Just want to hear some people's opinions.

I would say the Digitech Bass Whammy even though I only tried it once it was so cool.

Thanks

I don't know about you, but I consider the BJFE Blueberry to be the holy grail of bass OD.

And +1 for the Mutron-III.

Wait for it.....

The boss OC2, as it's kind of the most well known and one of the oldest octavers around!

As a devoted user of this pedal, I'm going to say Proco Rat.

DOD-FX25 (own) and OC2 (never owned)

FX25 - even though there are much better filters around now i beileve it changed enevlope filters for ever.

OC2 - classic and most well know octave. paved the way for the MXR BOD which i have now and love!

Tech 21 Bass VT.
it's an instant classic, basically an Ampeg amp farm squeezed into a stompbox.

In my opinion:
- Musitronics '70 Mutron III
- Akai Deep Impact SB1
- Boss OC2

Tuner. It's not just a joke. YOu know it if you ever tried to tune a bass or even worse, URB with the noise of a band around.
Otherwise the only 2 legendary pedals I can think of for bass would be the Mu-Tron III and the Boss OC-2. They really changed bass.

A pedal that mimics the tone of a 40 yo amp, heard on thousands of records.
I hardly see how this may change anything to the history of bass.

The Woolly Mammoth has gained almost a cult following. Of course, with the pedal in question, there are the people who swear by it and the people who swear at it.
