Lehle A/B/Y Box

Sign in to disble this ad
My main effect now is the A/B/Y box I use with my Mesa 400+ and I have a custom Pedaltrain Junction but I'm just wondering if I should upgrade to what appears to be the daddy of ABY boxes.

But it's very expensive for a switch :P anyone got any lehle stuff they can rave about?

no point paying through the nose for a a/b/y box no matter how much you go out of the way to buy "top quality parts" they can't cost no more than £35 to build

I'd go for the Lehle, it's more than just a switch in a box like most ABY's.

It's alot of £££, but the thought that's gone into the interface for the gigging musician, and the thought that's gone into making it very durable is something to be admired, and something only a German could have the imagination for .

Love the Little Lehle, but I got mine for a huge discount, still brand new, but cheap.

I had a 3@1 and it was brilliant. Zero popping noises, zero issues with loading via the parallel outputs, rugged, the level pots per channel are very useful, all in all just about perfect. The only problem is the price- I got mine used, and I won't buy another until I can find it used or I win the lottery. Especially with the poor dollar right now- Lehle was expensive before, and is still expensive for you Eurocats, but now just a non-option for me. I do think that they are overpriced in general even considering their brilliant design. But as with many things, if you want "the best" you pays yer price.

The Lehle is way more than a traditional A/B/Y. I had a chance to talk to him at NAMM and I asked him staright out: What justifies the price of these boxes? The capabilities are really endless. The programability, the ability to chain several Lehles together as your board expands, the incredibly top-notch contruction... to me, the Lehle products bridge the gap between your standard bypass loopers and A/B/Y boxes and the custom Bradshaw-type switching systems.

That said, I can't afford them.
