Never thought I'd be using effects, much less a 6 string, but times change and time away from TB = more time for bass, music, and creativity.

That said, I still browse here from time to time and the Effects forum always has something intriguing and I especially appreciate the sound clips and video demos so I thought I'd add something of my own.

I'm doing some solo and duo stuff now, so the effects and 6th string do come in handy.

Here's a clip of my latest, with a new trio I'm part of. I'm still quite new to looping, but I think this freestyle turned out really well.

As per the thread title, bass is an LEJ (Low End) 6, looper is the BOSS RC-20xl, wah is the Ibanez Weeping Demon, and the pitch shifting sounds are made by the BOSS PS-5.

Comments/critique welcome, along with any tips for utilizing a looper while playing live with percussion/drums. That's quite a challenge. I've seen some good drummers get thrown off by the machine. Luckily this guy can pull it off, but sometimes getting started, especially making a good in-time loop off the top, is a real challenge.

Thanks. I have used the PS-5 for horn harmonies, and it worked very well. For bass, I can't recall trying it. I'll try to remember to do so.
