howdy y'all.
so.... building a smaller more portable board right now. i love my big one, but it's a monstrosity. freaking heavy ginormous PT Pro's. picked up a PT Mini cheap and i kind of dig it.
my favorite fuzz i've found so far is the Swollen Pickle. is there any smaller footprint pedals that sound very similar? space is at a premium on the PT Mini.
thanks much!
later Fuzzies (WORST fetish group EVER. "i can only do this if there's sludge rock playing. and that BETTER not be an OD on that bass." |

It's a Superfuzz style sound that can be had on the cheap (especially used). I've got a friend who swears by it. He's got a huge board and it's the smallest thing on there. He even prefers it to my Wattson Classic Electronics Superfuzz pedal. The little Guyatone delay sounds pretty good too. I had one of those for a while and it responded pretty well to vigorous tweeking. I've been meaning to try out the tiny new Malekko pedals at some point as well. They look pretty promising. |
