I have a 70's era Dean Markley Talk Box 100 that is still making ow and wow, pushing it with a GK MLS head, back in the day it was a Bassman 100.

Talk boxes are usually not terribly bass-friendly, since they are essentially an amp-driven horn in an enclosed box, or designed to sound like an amp-driven horn in an enclosed box. They will work, but they will work the way they are designed to, which is to drop all the low end and low mids out of your tone.

its a dano talk box. with a separate mic running to the PA. very simple. ideally, a clean blend is needed, as said above.
