lettering on DIY stompbox?

Sign in to disble this ad
Quick question:
What's the best way to get permanent lettering onto a die-cast enclosure for a home-made stomp box?
I want something that looks reasonablyu professional and won't wear off after a couple of months in a gig bag.

Bouncing around in a gig bag banging into other crap or on a pedalboard in a gig bag?

no pedalboard here, only using a chorus and an A/B/Y box which is what I want the lettering for.
Thx for the link Optimus!

Just an FYI: You'll also need clear acrylic to spray over these to keep them from rubbing off.

Now if they just had them in white.

i just use paint for mine. and then spray clear coat on it. might be a little sloppier (handwriting is not my forte) but it sure isn't going anywhere.

You could do the newspaper ransom note thing. I havent seen anybody do that for an effects pedal yet. Might be cool.
