Depends on what you're going for and how much money you have. It does many things well and it includes a boatload of pretty decent effects - I really really like it, personally - but if you have the $$ (or ££ in your case) to get singles, they're probably a better bet, but to get the same pedals, you're looking at a wah, volume, fuzz, distortion, envelope filter, phaser, chorus, flanger, synth and compressor. If you only need two or three of those, get great singles.
My plan is that since I use them all (literally), I have the BOD for now and am slowly accruing singles until I have a board I can replace the BOD with.
