Line 6 Bass XT Live synth tracking...

Sign in to disble this ad
So I have one and love it, however...

The synth tracking (I think I'm using the term correctly - I mean the capturing and holding of the notes) seems poor at best. I know that part of it is determined by the technique of the bassist... but I'm wondering if anyone has advice on how to get the most out of the synth effects: what tones produce the most consistent tracking, fingers or pick, etc...

I love the thing, but it's my first multi-effects processor and I'm swimming in the dark about 90% of the time.

Thanks in advance (I searched for a similar thread and couldn't find one - apologies if this is redundant).

I got mine to track really well by turning up the midrange on my bass. I doesn't seem to alter the tone but it instantly makes it track better.
