Line 6 Clearance - Snag It Now or Wait?

I went to order a Line 6 POD X3 today and noticed that it's on clearance...aka something's going to replace it soon or it's going to be replaced by an updated new product. I can't find any info on what Line 6 is planning on doing with the POD X3 Live so I can't decide whether to snag one of the last ones or to wait and see what they come out with next.

Anyone have any info?

PS: I did search for Line 6 NAMM 2010 and found next to no info regarding anything with the X3L.

It is a good modelling unit, that's for sure.

It isn't like basement-price-blowout, but the word "clearance" is there, so it's telling you there aren't many left.

I know, but I'm just asking, if this is indeed going to be one of my last chances to grab one of these, should I, or should I wait and get whatever Line 6 is releasing in its place?

Since there is no discount, wait and see what's next. Buy used if you really want the X3L.

Line 6 is usually pretty tight lipped about upcoming releases. You normally don't hear anything until the day it's released, or the day it's announced I should say.
