Line 6 Technical Support

For my new pedal board, I purchased two Line 6 G50 wireless units over a year ago. I don't want to have to unplug and plug in different basses in the middle of a set. I have an A/B switch on my pedal board for that.

I've been using only one of the two units, but the other day I tried the second unit for the first time. It transmit the signal fine, the mute button works, but the On/Off button does not work. The transmitter remains on unless the batteries are removed. It's not a big deal, but it is a pain in the neck. I like to turn off the transmitters to save batteries during set breaks.

I contacted techincal support at Line 6 and started a "ticket." I requested that they exchange the transmitter for one that has no flaws. I told them the unit is over a year old but had not been used and has no scratches or dents. That was two days ago, but I have not heard back yet.

Has anyone else had experience with Line 6 techinical support? If so, how was it?

I Have a G50 system. I sent my transmitter in to Line 6 to have the TA4f connector retrofitted with a metal one (due to plastic retaining lip on transmitter connector wears down and cable will not lock) They had my transmitter for week and half. I also had them flash the software to the latest version.
They will take care of you!
