A local music store here in the Philippines is listing the Line6 ToneCore Otto Filter for clearance sale of Php 1999.00 or US$50 approx.
I've been GASing for an "auto wah" type pedal and this is the cheapest that I have found.
Has anyone tried this pedal on bass?..
Thanks,
Gerard

| | | | I actually like it for bass tones. The down sweep is one of the best I've heard, very "Chameleon"-like, and really watery with run-on notes. I wish it had an attack control for the up sweep, though. The attack is really fast, and it sounds great, but there's too much "bow" and not enough "wow" or "wah."

Or passive / active electronics doesn't matter?
I have seen an MXR M82 BEF on another music store here in the Philippines but it cost way so much higher.

I have a Peavey Spectrum Bass II synth module, which has a lot of fairly authentic bass guitar sims, and the OTTO sounds great with them. Obviously your results will vary, but my line-level keyboard and modules love the OTTO.

Anyways, thanks for accomodating my inquiries, I have decided to pull the trigger on the MXR BEF but it will take atleast 3weeks before I can personally have it...
